You do not want to spend a lot of time and money to only find out your prospective builder is not what he or she lead you to believe. The following check list will help you accelerate the planning phase and help determine who you want to bid your project.

• Check to make sure builder is currently licensed and insured
• Check builder’s banking and customer references
• Check that builder is in good standing with the Better Business
